Fox Sports2, the official cricket broadcasting channel of Fox Sports, has just launched live coverage of the Ashes Test between Australia and New Zealand.
Ashes Test cricket is a Test between two teams, the Australian and the New Zealand side, which will take place at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide, Australia, on Tuesday 7 September, at 3.30pm local time.
Watching live from Adelaide, cricket fans can listen to the match in full or access it on-demand via Fox Sports.
Fox Sports 2 has also launched cricket apps for Apple TV and Android devices.
Aussie batsman Josh Hazlewood, who has a long history with cricket, is set to lead his side against New Zealand on Wednesday, and will be accompanied by his fellow bowlers.
While the Ashes is not a fixture in most people’s life, the ICC has recently been working to introduce cricket in more homes and countries, as well as giving it more mainstream coverage in local radio.
In June, the BCCI launched a cricket app called Test Match Special which will provide live coverage in the US, the UK and Australia.
Cricket is also being promoted on BBC Radio Cricket, with a special version of the show available to listen to on-air.
